I'd like to know how to pronounce the name Mireio. Is it mi-RAY-oh, mi-ray-OH or am I wrong altogether?
As I was walking I saw a sign there
And on that sign it said "no trespassin'"
But on the other side it didn't say nothin'

The name is listed as Mirelha and Mirèia (the pronunciation is more or less the same), because it is the standard Occitan spelling. The spelling Mirèio (Mistralian spelling), in Mistral's roman, was, in fact, a Frenchisied spelling forced by Josèp Romanilha, Mistral's publisher.
