Meanings of some names
I would like to know the meanings of some names (found in a Swedish year book):
Ninja (I guess it hasn't got anything to do with Japanese ninjas, but I've heard it's a Russian nick?)
Davor (boy, possibly Czech)
Karianne (have seen this name a few times here in Sweden, but it's very rare)
Fam (name of a Swedish girl. A variant spelling of "femme" ie the French word for women? I've never seen it anywhere else, but at least five women in Sweden have this name)
Mihnea (guy, probably Romanian)
Madalin (guy, probably Romanian, too)
Serap (girl, probably of Arabic origin)
Luftar (guy, perhaps Albanian?)
Didmona

Luftar, Albanian, probably from 'luftarak', "bellicose, martial, militant, warlike", see
