true meanings
I have 3 children and we have chosen 3 "different" names for them. I have found meanings and origins for them, but they always vary. I would like to know the true root, origin, and meanings of my childrens names. My sons name is Torian. My daughters names are Amarya and Teagan. Also, is there a different meaning for the name Stephania other than the root of Stephan? Any help here is appreciated! God bless

That's a tricky set!
Teagan - click hyperlink
Stephania - no, there's no other meaning, it comes from Stephen and means "crown".
Torian - this is interesting. It could be (click hyperlinks):
- a variation of Dorian
- a masculinisation of Toria
- a variation of Torin
or it might be none of the above! Where did you find it when you gave the name to your son?
Amarya - it could be (click hyperlinks):
- a variation of Amara
- a feminisation of Amar
- a feminisation of Amariah
- a variation of Amaya
or none of the above - likewise, where did you get the name from?
