Correct Spelling?

I'm actually looking for information on that name too because supposedly that was my great-grandfather's (he came over from Italy in the early 1900s) but I had been told it was spelled "Cesideo".
Do you think we're both right or has the name evolved?

Cesidio exists. Cesideo seems not, well to me, but it's perhaps a local distortion.
