I was named for the actress Dina Merrill, gosh I HATE my name with a true passion, nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows how to pronounce it correctly.I was born in 1970 and you would think almost 40 years later, not counting how long she used it that people would now how to pronounce it. Come on, people, it's not that hard. I wish I had a normal name, like Tracey or Jennifer where people would not get so confused. But I have observed in like that when you put a "D" in front of name it really messes with people and they cannot pronouce the name correctly.
