Cornelia and Cordelia?
I always thought that these were said Cor-nee-lee-uh/cor-neel-ya and cor-dee-lee-uh/cor-deel-ya. Someone on another board pronounced Cornelia as cor-nay-lee-uh (with the long a pattern). I remember in the movie "The Girl With The Pearl Earring" that this was the pronounciation used too?? Is this just a Dutch pronunciation or incorrect and if it is correct does it apply to Cordelia too as in cor-day-lee-uh????Thanks for your help!
