Van Cats: 'van' means 'from' in Dutch. 'Cats' is derived from 'Kats.'
This is what the last name Kats means:
1. It's derived from the first name Kat or Kette
2. Can be after the place Kats in the Dutch province Zeeland
3. It can be part of a longer (last) name 'Kat(ten)schijtte'. The name 'Schiettekatte' is still used these days. Possibly this is related to the militairy meaning of the word 'kat' (or Katze in German): it was a kind of tool or machine. Someone who worked with that machine had 'kat' as the name of their profession. If you look at it like that, it is also possible that it's a equivalent of the German Kats, that would have the same meaning.
4. As Jewish name an acronym from kohen tsedek: priest of the justice
Catalyn (Catalyntie): Catalyntie is a pet from of Catharina.
Claes is probably derived from Claas. Claas is a short form of Nicholaas.
Tryntge: I could not find this name, but I did find Tryn, Tryntje, Tryntje, Trynke, enz. These are all Frisian names derived from Catharina.
