Is Mattea legit?
I'm considering naming my daughter Mattea. I have heard it is a legit name from many trusted sources (Italian, fem. version of Matteo) but this is my go-to site and it's not listed. It's also not in alot of baby name books or other name sites. Full name would be Mattea Catherine Mariah (Catherine and Mariah are family names)

"Legit" and well-known in Italy
Hi, Rebecca. Mattea is a lovely name, and it's also well-known in Italy for baby girls. An Italian Google seach on "Mattea" reveals a number of women in Italy who bear that name. Also, "Mattea" can be found listed as a proper feminine name in the Italian Wiktionary:

My Italian name dictionary (Santi e Fanti by Enzo La Stella T.)has "quasi solo m." at the beginning of its entry for Matteo (technically Mattèo). If the feminine form Mattea was never used in Italy, I assume that the dictionary would say "solo m.", as it does by many other names. Since it says "quasi solo", it probably means that though the feminine form Mattea is quite rare as a female given name in Italy, it has been used on rare occasions.
