Isabeau is most likely Freanch (the
Beau
part) and is often used as a pet form of
Isabelle
to say "beautiful
Isabelle
". There are records of
Henry
VIII calling his daughter
Princess
Elizabeth
"dear Ysabeau". So it has something to that effect.
