Message: "KOHR-nor?" - Behind the Name

Hi!
My mum just told me the name of my imaginative friend from when I was a child. It was "KOHR-nor". She said, it sounded a bit like corner.
I'm trying to find out where the name could have come from, except from Connor. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
