I am watching a movie for my sophmore ethics class. I chose to do Spitfire Grill, and i was wondering could anyone help me with the meaning of several names that are mentioned in the movie. I'm not totally sure on the spelling of all the names but anything relating to the Bible or religion of any sort would help me a ton. Thanks!

Bethel is a biblical place name meaning "house of God".
Gilead is probably from Gilad, another place name mentioned in the Bible, possibly meaning "hill of testimony".

Meshack might be a variant of Meshach , a person mentioned in the Book of Daniel (3:12-30). It's possible this name derives from that of a Chaldean god.

Galatia = Galatea = a nymph in Greek mythology.
