the possibility of Judeo-Czech (knaanic) names
I came across a book about Medieval Ashkenazic names, and a few names from Moravia and Bohemia were mentioned.Unfortunately, little to no research exists about Kananic names, but I was wondering if the names on this document were Knaanic names, as they appear to be of Slavic origin, except for one that I am not sure about.I thought of submitting the names on the website, but unfortunately, there is no Judeo-Slavic or Judeo-Czech usage on the website, and I don't want to submit it separately as Medieval Jewish & Medieval Slavic because it's wrong and misleading as these names appear to be Medieval Slavic and Judeo-Czech as well.I am not so sure if they are Knaanic because they date back to the 14th centurySome of these Medieval Czech & Judeo-Slavic names Deslava Drazna, Mladathey are classified as an adoption of gentile names but I do think it would be good to submit them at least as Judeo-Slavic & Medieval CzechMy source: A Dictionary of Ashkenazic Given Names, page 35
