SIDELLE is probably just a form of "Sydelle" which means "princess" in Hebrew according to several sources.

Perhaps from yiddish Shayne/Shayndle/Shaydle etc (meaning "beautiful", german scho"n,)

Strange... "el" probably means "God" in my opinion, like Nathaniel is God's gift... But maybe not, like Rachel...

I say: SIDELLE is not Hebrew and definetely does not mean "princess" in Hebrew. SIDNEY sounds a lot more reasonable to me.
