ArchivesShould the "make me a combo" or "give me your favorite name that starts with the letter A" go to the name games board?
I don't have a big problem with them being on the name opinions board but I do feel like they take up a gigantic amount of space and they are not really there to ask about opinions but more about trying to create a combo or finding a name with a particular letter which seems more like a game to me.
Just a suggestion because I feel like these show up a lot and take away a gigantic amount of space therefore pushing lots of other threads down.

It is currently happening again. I personally find it annoying as it is taking up so much space and I would still want these on the name game board.
These threads are huge and they take up so much space and I don't really understand why there is another round of "give me your favorite I name" after just a few months.
I know that probably no one cares I just feel like ranting, sorry.

I think they do lie on a gray zone, because some people do ask for name combos for naming real person or fictional characters, but the others are doing it for fun. For me (not interested in name games because they are too consuming) I think even if they do it solely for fun, name combos are quite different from the more continuous and interacrive nature of most name games.

I see what you're saying, but I don't think we need to move these threads or tell people to post them on Games. These don't seem like name games to me.

I agree. Though I must admit, I've never looked at the Games board so I don't know what goes on there. I suppose it might be mildly interesting to see other people's opinions (actually their choices) and how they compare, but only very mildly. In fact, I much prefer opinions that come with reasons or an explanation, not just I like it or I hate it and then nothing.

Yes, same, I use this board less and less because of the many "I like it" replies. The site is not super quick for me either so it really takes some time to click on the answers.
The huge "what would you name a boy with the letter Z" threads that showed up for every letter of the alphabet and boys and girls every time also made me visit the site less as I had to search for the actual opinions in between.
It doesn't bother me that other people want to do this but it just makes me use this site less and less especially as there are alternatives out there.
