Hi Tashina's,
So I was told that the name originated from Native Americans. My name comes from the Ojibway tribe and means "Morningstar". Now living out west, I have come across this name in the Lakota tribe and to them it means "Fire in the sky lady". Thanks for the other information. This is a great thread!
