Netherlands: most popular names for 2020 have been released
https://www.svbkindernamen.nl/nl/kindernamen/ (in Dutch; click on the white button "Bekijk de populairste namen")
The website of the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) appears to have undergone a redesign, as the general URL for name statistics has been changed. The previous URL (see below) is currently dead, but was still operational when I last checked a few days ago:
https://www.svbkindernamen.nl/int/nl/kindernamen/wizard/zoeknaam/ (in Dutch)
If it is still dead in a few days from now, then you might want to consider updating the link featured at:
https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/netherlands
And just in case it might come in handy somehow: here is a news article about the release of the most popular names for 2020:
https://nos.nl/artikel/2363406-noah-en-emma-blijven-populairste-voornamen.html (in Dutch; use DeepL Translator or Google Translate if necessary)
ETA (edited to add): as of 2020, the SVB will no longer be making separate lists for boys' names and girls' names, "because there are many names that are given to boys and girls". I take this to mean that they want to be more gender-neutral, or politically correct if you will. Admirable, but I imagine that this will make it harder for you to interpret and compile the Dutch name popularity statistics from now on. :( For more information about this, please see the question "Waarom is er 1 lijst voor alle kindernamen?" ("Why is there 1 list for all children's names?") in the FAQ at:
https://www.svbkindernamen.nl/nl/kindernamen/veelgestelde-vragen.html (in Dutch)

I just contacted the SVB...
To ask them in they have the data as well for boys and girl seperately. Maybe if a lot of people contact them with the same question, they might reconsider how they present their data. I love having unisex overviews, but I am really sad this is coming at the cost of the usual boys and girls lists, so I sent them that both as a person wo loves names and as a Dutch mother-to-be I'm really missing the regular overviews. I think they might even have the possibility to add an option to filter by sex, because they have done that with the unisex top 15.

The fact that the list isn't separated by gender is problematic, as it breaks the series. At this point I'm not going to add the 2020 list. Maybe I can start a new series....
Hi Mike,
I just got a phone call from the SVB saying they'd send me the original excel sheets where the numbers per sex are also visible. Apparently they've received more criticism and are already talking about doing it differently next year. But at least you'll have the required data soon!
In contacting them I had specifically asked if they could provide data which would enable you to post the male/female lists seperately.
edit: They're in your mailbox :D

Thanks Mar -- I've updated the original series to 2020 now.
