The Popularity of BLAKE in BRITISH COULMBIA
I've also seen it's NO longer popular as a MASCULINE name in 2017 in BRITISH COLUMBIA. Since 2018, only GIRLS have been marked in popularity with the name BLAKE.
Another PROOF that this name is UNISEX.

I'm curious about the broken blue and red lines. Why is data available for the girl's names if they have as few as 31 instances, but not available for the boy's names if they have fewer than 40? Is this graph based on a limited list of "most popular" names (for instance, the top 500 or 1000)?
It's impossible to tell from this data if there are currently more girls than boys being named Blake, or vice versa, or if they are roughly equal.

This is from a top 100 list. Blake as a male name was in fact used more times as a male name in 2019 (38 times vs 37 times for girls), but due to the "denser" distribution of boys names it was below the cutoff.
