Knud Bielefeld at beliebte-vornamen.de has allowed behindthename.com to publish the top 20 German names since 1890. Interesting! Would be nice to see a longer list to see if they name there kids weird stuff but them dating back that far makes up for it.

I knew Germany had some naming laws, so I looked up a bit more about it:

Apparently things are somewhat lax in practice.
