Re: Submission question
Do I have to provide Facebook links? I'd feel bad doing that, privacy an all. I have suggested to do a search on Facebook to reveal several people with the same name, rather than providing the one person I know with said name. If the answer is yes, is there a way of editing notes post-submission? About the usage; one of the names I have submitted was Quitman. This is the name of one of my relatives, he's British, but the name comes from several places in America and there's one American person with the surname Quitman. I submitted it as English (American). Was that incorrect regarding my relative? Or is that correct regarding the origin?

If you put it in the notes, only editors will see it, so it's fairly private. It's just to prove that the names exist. You can submit "corrections" including sources here, using the second box: https://www.behindthename.com/submit/submitFor names where you can find bearers in multiple English speaking countries, you can just put English rather than English (American). So if your relative is a Brit but you have also seen American bearers, English is a better usage. I can correct this if you confirm.

Thank you! I will go back and give some links soonI've only ever seen one person, my relative, with that name. I've no idea if it's used as a given name in America
