Re: Mahin
Hey this information is wrong, it says Maahin was one of the many names of the prophet Muhammad, but it’s actually “Al- Mahi” which was one of the names of the prophet In sahih bukhari volume 4, book 56, number 732 narrated by Jubair bin Mutim it states “ I am Al-Mahi through whom allah will eliminate infidelity” NOT maahinAlthough, the name Mahin has been mentioned in the Quran in
43:52 surah az zukhruf ayah 52
77:20 surah al mursalat ayah 20
68:10 surah al qalam ayah 10But a child can not be named Mahin regarding the Arabic context as it’s translation in Arabic is worthless and in Islam you are not supposed to name someone with a word that has a bad meaning Instead someone can be named Mahin regarding the Persian context in which it means “moon- like”
Hope this helps
