I was at the library, looking at census data, and I came across the name "Tquoor". I know it was a man who bore the name, and I know he was from Hungary. I suspect it is a contracted name, since it's common to see things like Robt and Wm on there. Does anyone have an idea of what the name might be?

It's not a Hungarian name. For one, Q is not an original Hungarian letter - you can only find it in foreign-rooted words, but even in that case qu is altered to kv in spelling.
So he may have been from Hungary but his name is not :-)
