There is a small town in Mo called Neosho, I will try to find out what Neosho means, and perhaps we could go from there.

Found this on the site of Neosho, Mo, will see if I can find more later, but this is what I have so far

The name, Ne-o-zho or Ne-u-zhu, is of Indian derivation meaning "clear or abundant water."
