Leek
The leek was given to March 1st in honor of St. David, the patron saint of Wales. In Wales, March 1st is a holiday (St. David's Day), and people traditionally wear a leek on that day (same as some folks wear a shamrock on St. Patrick's day in Ireland)."Charlotte Leek" = "Cherokee T. Tall"-- Nanaea

I have a special fondness for Wales. :) I've trekked through Snowdonia National Park and will never forget the wild beauty of the place.-- Nanaea

If you can put up with the showers of light rain you get here in Swansea, it's a nice place to live. [more]I gather that it rains often here because we are near the sea.
