It must be spring fever or something, because I'm launching yet another goofy Name Game!
This time I'll be using an old book titled: *A Floral Calendar and Other Flower Lore* by Marie Angel.
The Floral Calendar comes from medieval Europe, when monks ascribed flower emblems to particular saints, and these flowers became associated with the saints' feast days. There is a specific flower assigned to every day of the year -- and most of these flowers also have symbolic meanings which have been ascribed to them as well.
To find out what your assigned flower is, simply give me the month and day of your birth. I'll even see if I (or maybe PriaposLovs) can anagram a unique name out of your flower for you. :)

The leek was given to March 1st in honor of St. David, the patron saint of Wales. In Wales, March 1st is a holiday (St. David's Day), and people traditionally wear a leek on that day (same as some folks wear a shamrock on St. Patrick's day in Ireland).

I live in Swansea which is the second largest city in Wales, after Cardiff. So kind of close to Cardiff.
