I like this name and see that it can be used of a girl or a boy. Origin - Skyla(?). What is the most common pronunciation of Skye? From what I've found online so far it pronounced the same as "sky". Does anyone ever pronounce it as "skyah" for a girl? Just wondering if it would be better to just spell the name "Skya" to avoid confusion. Only problem is I can't find a reference to anyone ever using "Skya" as a name so it would be hard to trace the meaning of her name.
