Hello all,

I had a mod delete my name a few months back. I actually messaged her this question directly, but I'm not sure how active she is at the current moment in time.

I just wanted it clarified what constitutes "notable" for the purpose of name submission. The name I had submitted is the name of a main character in a game series containing 5 or 6 cult games, a manga, and an anime, with characters designed by a popular artist. What is sufficient exposure for a Fiction to be considered "notable"?

There's no perfect definition for "notability" on this site, but in general characters from books, TV shows, movies and video games that are distributed to the general public are eligible.

"Distribution" entails more than merely posting to the internet (i.e. names from amateur fiction are EXCLUDED).
