It's more than likely that the name "Joringel" (a boys name) is
the diminutive of "Jorin" (cf. Gretel for Margarete)
Jorin is a Frisian form of the
old German name "Eberwin" which means "friend of the boar"
so in Joringels case it would be "little friend of the boar".
