Heard a name...
...but don't know how it's spelled or what its origin is.
The name was pronounced J+eye+uh (the J sound like the J in juice). Its owner was a 3-year-old boy. I wish I had asked more on the background.
Does anyone have any spelling/origin info on it?

The problem is the first a in jaYa is either the vowel from English cut or that in English cot, it is not the one in English car. The last a is usually silent or same as in cut. I can't match the original poster's j-eye-uh with this, but it may be I am reading too much into this.
