Houari Boumedienne is known as Mohammed Ben Brahim Boukharouba, the name he was born with... But I cannot tell what is a name and what is a surname (Well, Mohammed is a name) Ben is from Bernard, Benjamin or Benedict? Or elsewhere? Is Brahim the same name as in India? Or what it means? What are variants of it? Houari means "red-haired"... Why Boumedienne instead of Boukharouba?
