MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS CALLED HOIBY ANY INFORMNATION ON THIS FIRST NAME WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED

Hoiby is a Norwegian surname, it's most famous bearers are the classical composer Lee Hoiby and Norway's current Crown Princess Mette-Marit whose maiden name is Tjessem-Hoiby.
