Greek alphabet
I love the way you use the Greek alphabet in the origins of names! My Websters from about 1910 gives all Greek origins in the Greek alphabet, and I love that about it. I guess THEN most folks could pronounce a word in Greek letters. Newer dictionaries have gotten away from that. Perhaps you'd like to link to a quick summary of the Greek alphabet. I could help you prepare that. I teach a one-session class about it, for Bible lovers or English word lovers.

See http://www.behindthename.com/glossary/view.php?title=greek_alphabet for a brief description. The pronunciation guide is very approximate...Of course, if you have any suggestions for the article I would be happy to hear them.
