Both Llandel and Yandel are probably Latin American respellings of Jandel or Jahndel, which are among the many different German diminutives of Johann (John).
I don't know how Jandel came to be used in Latin America, but the use of Johan also shows that Puerto Rican parents have adopted other German forms.
