Well, it can't be Italian because there is no K or Y in the Italian alphabet. Thus, she's wrong.

While indeed there's no K or Y in the Italian alphabet that doesn't stop some people from using sometimes names, probably of foreign derivation, that might contain these letters (I've come across a couple of Ylenia), just as there are some words borrowed from other languages but that are now in Italian dictionaries, that contain k's or y's (such as knock-out or yacht).
This said, you're right that Kryzia isn't an Italian name but she could still be Italian. Krizia (in this spelling) is an Italian fashion brand.

Okay, I believe you, thanks for letting me know. I just thought she was right as I believe her background is Italian.
