Rosea
Does anyone have information on the name Rosea. It feminine and I assume a variation of Rose. I heard it on an older lady and was wondering the origins.

I would say that it is derived from the Latin adjective roseus "pink, rosy, rose-coloured", or otherwise derived from the Latin masculine name Rosius:

All in all, you're not far off in your assumption that it is related to the name Rose. :)
