Same name, many languages
I'm interested in finding as many different language versions of the same name...Eg: John, juan, jack, etc or James...
Which one name has the most translations?
Male and Female
Thanks for your help!
All the best, Fred

There's a function on this website which allows you to search for related names. Besides translations into other languages, it also returns diminutives, variants, forms in the other gender, etc. Out of curiousity I tried it with several names and these gave the most results.Katherine http://www.behindthename.com/php/search.php?terms=Katherine&extra=r&gender=both 120 names
Elizabeth http://www.behindthename.com/php/search.php?terms=Elizabeth&extra=r&gender=both 113 names

For girls' names I would guess Elizabeth if you take all those pet forms like Betsy, Betty, Lissy etc.

or maybe Catherine

Sure, could well be.
For boys' names maybe try Nikolaus. John of course is not bad either I guess.
There must be some statistics somewhere …Andy ;—)
