MARIOTTI, MARIO

From the first name Mario, derived from the Etruscan "maru" = man.

I think it's a surname used by Italians

Mariotti is definetly an Italian surname, it may be used as a first name.

And it is derived from the Latin name and surname Marius (Mario) that is widespread through out the (central) north of Italy.

'MARIOTTI Diffuso al centro nord, deriva dal nomen e cognomen latino Marius.'
