I'm sorry to say but the pronounciation of my name on the site is so wrong.
It is indeed a jewelery, a pearl in fact, and a general name for jewels :)
It is spelt:
P is silent
ni is the emphesized part of the name, and it sounds like the ni in nibble
and last comes NA which sounds like 'na' in 'national'
It's true that the jewel related word spells differently
The stress is on the NA part, but it is still read like Pnina and not as the site suggests
The Biblical name sounded as Penina, Pe sounds like in performance and the stress on the Na part
All and all, the usage in the modern days for the name is like I described in the first option and for the name of the jewel as described in the second option :)
