Hi Mike, I am researching a similar topic for my graduate linguistics class and would like to have your permission to both 1)copy your information simply for reference; and 2) use some of your work with the proper APA or MLA format. Please answer back ASAP as there are only three weeks of this class and one has already passed.

Can I copy the definition of my name to use in my homework report?
That is not a problem as long as it is only a few names. You do not need to ask permission for this.
How do I list your site in my references?
If your teacher requires you to cite your sources you should use this:
Campbell, Michael D. "Behind the Name: the
Etymology and History of First Names."
2001. http://www.behindthename.com/
(5 May, 2001).
(where 5 May, 2001 is the date you accessed the site)
Can I copy the contents of your website and put them on my website?
No, sorry, that is not allowed. Please place a link to my site instead.
