Message: "Rumer" - Behind the Name

I know this is an actual name, a bit unusual. I've heard other places then just Demi's kids. (btw, her kids are *not* named horribly, except maybe for Scout. Rumer and Tallulah are great names.) Anyway, does anyone know any info about it? I kinda of like it.

That is a pretty name. It is also part of a cow's stomach, though. Thought you'd want to know that before making the decision.

She used Rumer after author Rumer Godden, real name Margaret Rumer Godden, Rumer being her grandmother's family name. Rumer wasn't an established given name but it's English tradition to use important surnames from the family tree, in particular the mother's or grandmother's maiden name, as a mn.

Scout is a fabulous name as it honours the classic To Kill A Mockingbird!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's fabulous, but I quite like Scout, because of the book alone I think.
