The list of the 100 most popular names in Sweden 2009 was released yesterday.

And a question for Mike C if he happens to read this: When will the top lists be updated? I noticed that the latest top list for Sweden is for 2007.

William pronunciation

Most people pronounce it like it would be pronounced in English. However, there are some (mostly older people) who pronounce Will like Vill. That's why you might see spellings like Villiam and Viljam though William is the "correct" Swedish spelling.
