Polish version of Evelyn

I have a friend who is 100% Polish and has a real polish 1st name
But she wont tell he her real first name
Everyone here in the U.S. calls her "Evelyn"

Any ideas on this little mystery? LOL

It's Ewelina. :) (instead of the -lyn ending it's -leena)

I've looked a Polish martyrology and on May 26 one of the names was Ewelina. I think this name is more approximated to Evelyn.

Ewa, maybe? It's the Polish form of Eve.
