In Norway there was a case some years ago. The parents wanted to name their child with binary code since that would fit the information age better they said. Naming the child thus was disallowed the parents who then wanted to name the child "a".
That too was disallowed and since the parents refused to come up with another name the court deemed the boys name: Albin
I remember an unemployed philosopher, whom I once met in a train, said to me:
"Only the qualified are allowed to work, but even the most disqualified are allowed to breed. It should be the other way around."
One may disagree, but even then it is words worth pondering.
