I am an african american female with maternal and paternal grandparent mixes to include native american and caucasion. I have been told that my name is of african and french decent. I live in the south just past new orleans. I have searched for the meaning/origin of my name for years -- no luck. If there is anyone out there that could provide a resource or information that would assist me in finding the aformentioned it would be greatly appreciated.
