I am considering the name Eva for my daughter...I am aware that it can be pronounced Eva or "Ava". Is the traditional, ancient pronunciation Eva? Perhaps in European countries they pronounce Eva as "Ava" because the e sounds like a? If I name her Eva but pronounce it "Ava" will people in the U.S. be confused? Love your ideas!
