I am trying desperately to find the origin of my name, Reatha, which is the shortened form of the name of my grandmother, Doreatha

I know in my family tree researching, I have seen many different spellings of
Dorothy
and many different forms of it, including Doretha. I would assume it's just a variant of Dorothy/Dorothea.
Pretty name...
