Message: "Elonka?" - Behind the Name

Does anyone know anything about the name Elonka(f)? I don't know anything much about it not even if this is the correct spelling. Its the name of one of my friends distant cousins but she has no idea, other than that it might be from somewhere in Western Europe. Thanks, Evy

Ilonka is a diminutive form of Ilona, Hungarian, corresponds to Helen in English.
