1. According to the site,
Cordelia is supposed to come from the Celtic name Cordeilla. Anyone know what it means?
2. Bavon or Bavo was a saint with a cathedral in Ghent.
He's called Baaf in Belgium. What's the origin/meaning of the name?
3. Jaenbert was an 8th century Anglo-Saxon monk. His name has many variants:
Jaenberht
Jaenbeorht
Janibert
Janbriht
Jambert
LambertLanbriht
Genegberht
The
Lambert variation sounds a bit dubious but
Lambert could be a form of Jaenbert, I guess. Anyway, anyone know what Jaenbert means?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
