The closest cultures would be those of the other Baltic countries (Latvia and Lithuania), Finland, and Russia.
The female suffix -tar also exists in normal Finnish words (kuningatar, ruhtinatar) and some old female names (Ilmatar, Suometar). However, the name Aotar is unknown over on this side of the gulf.
