In the story of
Tristan and
Isolde, what is the difference between
Isolde and
Iseult? Was there even an
Iseult? And if so, what importance was she to the story? I really love the name
Iseult, but I have heard tellings of this story that put this name's history in a bad light. And is
Isolde pronounced Ee-Sold, or Ee-Sol-duh?
