Natalie = "birth of the lord" or simply "birth / birthday"
Does Natalie really refer to Christmas, ie the birth of Jesus (natale domini) - or does it refer to a simple "Dies natalis" (a birthday)? Or maybe both? And why?Was it traditionally given to children born on Christmas? Or did the name only appear after they began to celebrate Christman? Or something completely different? Thanks in advance :)
